Why I teach this.

I did not learn this work from books alone.

I apprenticed in the lineage of Evolutionary Astrology and studied with some of the great astrologers of our time, and that direct transmission changed everything about how I understand a chart.

But Persephone I learned the way she is always learned. I lived it.

The overwhelm. The collapse. The knowing I was strong while a part of me was going down anyway. The relationship I chose to keep with a man who was not healthy. The self-abandonment. The long slow work of expanding my capacity to hold more of the self.

Twenty-five years of study, practice, and interpretation sit behind this classroom.

So does the descent. Life challenges our actual strength, our integrity, and our capacity.
